- Written proof on Insurer/Insurance Broker letter-headed paper confirming they are insuring our vehicle (listing make, model and registration number) on a fully comprehensive basis. If the customer is unable to provide documentation listing make/model and registration number of our specific vehicle then the wording on the certificate should confirm that there is fully comprehensive cover for “Any motor vehicle the property of the Policyholder or in the custody or control of the Policyholder in connection with the business” or words to that effect.
- Please ensure the confirmation details the policyholders name and policy number
- Please ensure that the period of cover is in line with the dates the vehicle is out on loan.
- You may wish to question the customer’s excess, as if very high, in the event of loss/significant damage to our vehicle, you will need to recover that excess from the customer.
- Customer’s insurance policy must be written in the UK as Lookers vehicles are all registered in the UK.
